Aiming to develop cooperation and expand the horizon of charity, the International Pitying Hearts Society/ IPHS signed a partnership agreement with the global company for prosthetics, Ottobock which includes raising the level of cooperation and provision of prosthetic limbs according to the international standards.
According to the agreement terms, the previous contract between IPHS and Ottobock has been extended for an additional two years; and they are cooperating to establish other centers for prosthetic in Turkey and other countries.
The contract was signed by Dr. Amin al-Khateeb, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, as a representative of IPHS and Mr. Orkun Taşkın, the General Director of Ottobock in Turkey.
In the sixth month of 2015, IPHS opened “Al-Sayer” Will Steps Center for prosthetics in the Turkish city of Gaziantep which is considered one of the integrated and advanced centers for the manufacture and application of prosthesis of various kinds in Turkey and the Middle East. This service is provided to the Syrians whose limbs are affected by various treachery forms. The center has been equipped with the latest machinery and equipment throughout contracting with the German Ottobock company, which is classified among the first international companies in the prosthetics industry.
