Syria – Aleppo
Wednesday 06/10/2015
The city of Aleppo is daily exposed to the bombing of the helicopters and warplanes with explosive barrels and homing which target the lives of hundreds of the civilians, women and children, in the densely populated city, despite the intensive shelling. The bad social situation of these families prevents them from displacement to any other place that is why they stay exposed to death and live at the mercy of those barrels which turn them to human remains where the blood got lost in the dust of death in a large international game where the near and the far are racing to get into this bloody game that target the lives of the civilians while the world is silently watching the crimes committed by the flight and the destroyer machine of the Syrian Regime.
Very few field hospitals are still operating in the stricken city in conditions which are almost the most difficult in the world since major surgical operations are performed quickly in the corridors of the hospitals with limited potentials to save the greatest number of the patients who are hundreds after each flight attack and these hospitals became full of them and the medical staff flops to reach a very difficult stage of exhaustion as a result of the difficult situations that came heavily such as serious head injuries, a large shattered body, amputations, and other serious injuries. But still the most serious is the targeting of those hospitals; the thing which is considered a crime against humanity; exactly as the targeting of Al-Eana Surgical Hospital, which is one of IPHS/the International Pitying Hearts Society’s medical centers in Syria, which happened this morning. The hospital was full with wounded on a permanent basis. However, it stopped its services because of the extensive damage and the serious injuries of the medical staff since Dr. Ayman, who is the only cardiologist in the region, has been succored. All the injured people have been taken to another hospital, and the hospital has been evacuated of all the patients and medical staff. The Human Rights Commission of the United Nations considers the bombing of the hospitals and the places that are used for humanitarian purposes as a war crime. To be also mentions that the Syrian Regime attacks continuously the medical facilities which are working hard to save the lives of thousands of the civilians in the affected areas which are exposed daily to attacks by the helicopters and the warplanes.
