Salha Jamaan Saeed Well – Korokman Village / Diffa Region – Niger

Implementation Date: 02 / 02 / 2022

With the aim of providing safe and clean water sources for impoverished communities in Africa, the Salha Jamaan Saeed Well Project was implemented in Korokman Village, located in the Diffa Region of the Republic of Niger.

The project was generously funded by Al-Sayer Charitable Foundation, implemented by Abwab Al-Khair Organization, and supervised by the Merciful Hearts International Association.

The project consists of a solar-powered artesian well with a depth of 85 meters, equipped with a stainless steel water tank of 8,000 liters capacity to ensure the continuous and safe availability of water.

In addition, eight water taps were installed for drinking purposes, along with a watering basin for livestock, and solar-powered lighting was provided to illuminate the site at night and facilitate continuous use.

This project provides a sustainable water source for approximately 10,000 beneficiaries from the village and surrounding areas, helping to alleviate the hardship of obtaining water and contributing to the community’s stability and well-being.
